Start up the grill and try this delicious marinade on your favorite cut of meat, seafood or fresh seasonal veggies.
Makes 2 Cups
Ingredients:
- 3/4 Cup Yellow Onion
- 1/2 Cup Green Onion
- 1/8 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/8 Cup Sugar
- 1 Lime, peeled
- 1/8 Cup Jalapeno
- 1/8 Cup Soy Sauce*
- 1/8 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 Tsp Thyme, Fresh
- 1 ¼ Tbsp Allspice
Directions:
- Wash and roughly chop vegetables. Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Marinade is ready to use! Nick’s Restaurant recommends using this on anything you put on the grill…chicken is the most popular; however, a hearty piece of fish, port, or fresh veggies will sing with this sauce too.
- Store any leftover marinade in the fridge.
